Radio Surgery uses high-frequency radio waves (2MHz) to cut, coagulate, or remove soft tissue. The waves heat cellular water, causing steam and dissolving tissue cells. A handpiece with an active electrode transmits the waves, focused by a patient plate behind the tissue.
